Proximo; Slave / Friends Proxmino is half owned by Lithium. The other half of Proximo is owned by Spartacus. Proximo will in the future develop feelings towards Lithium. Those feelings will be crushed when Lithium finds a mate in the future and leaves Spartacus and Proximo. Spartacus; Tolerance / Travels Together Spartacus and Lithium tolerate each other. Neither are to happy about sharing Proximo. He Gets possessive over Lithium the longer they travel together. He gets incredibly jealous when Lithium and her future mate leave. i could definitely see her and Proximo, my white tiger girly, hooking up xD not in a sexual way, but like as comrades. only, you'd have to be willing to work around a sort of defect of hers...

you see, poor Proximo was born a slave and raised a gladiator. she's never been free, feels no love for her owner, but has never wanted anything more than slavery. she doesn't exactly enjoy being a slave, but she just doesn't have the mind to realize that there are bigger and better things. i don't have her in a thread currently, but i will soon, and in this thread she will wash ashore at the feet of Grey's white tiger male, Spartacus. now, Proximo being as she is, she will sort of attach to him and assume he's going to be her new master. as such, she'll follow him around and do his bidding like any loyal slave.

this is where it gets amusing :3

perhaps one day Spartacus tells her to stay where she is so that he can go womanize for a bit, and then he trots off and she does as told: sits there. and let's say that, as luck would have it, Lithium happens to stumble upon her. the details can vary quite a bit here, but i imagine one of two scenarios.

1. Proximo has been there so long that she figures Spartacus isn't coming back. she might even decide that he'd ditched her. when Lithium appears she sort of attaches herself to the lion as she had Spartacus. i imagine this could satisfy Lithium's bossy nature as well as her fear of being alone.

2. true to her nature Proximo places absolute trust in her master and doesn't budge an inch in his absence. Lithium appears and the two hit it off grandly (wow, i didn't know that was a real word xD). Proximo is a cat of few words, so conversation would be mostly one-sided, but she speaks with body language just as well. i imagine that Lithium wouldn't want to leave because she's found someone else to be around, even if it is a tiger that's rather large for even a white tiger (due to her selective breeding).

of course this can be twisted any which way xD this is just what went through my mind as i was reading over Lithium's bio.

however, i may have an exciting conclusion xP feel free to refuse if it makes you uncomfortable.

Proximo has never known love. she wasn't with her parents long enough, and she doesn't feel anything but obligation for her owner. she's never really had the chance to explore that side of her being and, as such, has no idea whether she'd be straight, lesbian, left, right, etc. i am aware that Lithium is straight, and this will have no effect on that orientation unless you choose to do so. if the two hit it off really well, and Lithium works out a deal with Spartacus to have joint-ownership of Proximo, or decides to go with them so she won't be alone, whatever happens, then Proximo would have the closest thing she'd ever had to a friend. i can easily see the two lazing in some shade while Proximo nonchalantly grooms Lithium. in fact, it is this bonding time that begins to awaken feelings in the tiger that she didn't know she could have.

of course, Lithium would think nothing of the regular grooming sessions, figuring that the gentle tongue and the special attention to all the hidden itchy spots were simply the result of a slave doing its job well (as Proximo prides herself on doing). even the surprise snacks of difficult to catch birds were nothing more than gifts from slave to master. for Proximo, however, they are gestures and tokens of her affection. it would be safe to say that Proximo has fallen in love for the first time.

then comes the heartbreak. at some point Lithium will undoubtedly get a mate. when this happens Proximo will be absolutely crushed. at first she won't truly understand what is going on, simply assuming the male is another cat looking to travel with them (or whatever the situation was). but once the nuzzling, staring deeply into each other's eyes, and loving grooming starts to set in, Proximo harbors jealousy. she isn't the kind who can talk about her emotions, she isn't supposed to even have emotions, and has no idea how to express them in words. she'll start to react negatively around the male, often ignoring him or even going so far as to hiss and unsheathe her claws when he gets too near. one day he'll walk in on their custom of grooming, and Proximo will attempt to protect Lithium from him.

to which, i've no doubt, Lithium will become enraged, or perhaps even confused. i imagine she'd tell Proximo off using the most foul of words, and drive her point home when she orders Proximo to go back with Spartacus, and that now that she has (mate's name here), she doesn't need her.

talk about heartbreak, huh?

Oh my, I must say I love this idea. Of course her orientation will not be changed by the plot. I'm not sure who Lithiums future mate is going to be, maybe this plot will encourage someone to post an idea. I think Grey should post here too, just to make sure she is okay with Spartacus being apart of this plot. ^^ Thanks for posting.

Ohoho, I love this idea as well. C: Normally, Spartacus wouldn't dare share something he'd deemed as belonging to him, because I imagine he'll see Proximo more as an object, but because Lithium's female, he probably wouldn't mind. It might take a little to get used to, but if the three traveled together and whatnot, he'd calm down eventually. Now, he's normally a pretty solitary being, so I definitely see him wanting his time alone to go have some funfun and whatnot, but if he came back to see another feline trying to steal his "claim" he might be defensive, at first. THEN they could bargain, and badda-bing-badda-boom, we're good to go.

Oh, and just a warning, Spartacus hates all males and is a jealous mofo, so he'll probably be none too happy by Lithium getting a mate aswell. x3

He could just add more drama to the plot with his jealousy. I love this plot idea even more. When she gets a mate things could get really tense and dramatic. This could send Lithium and her mate in one direction and Proximo and Spartacus in another. Ooo The drama.
