Akuma walked for what seemed like weeks, how long had it been since he crashed? The great white lion had landed in the ocean, and he himself was knocked out cold. He woke up here, on this island, alone, wounded. He had run into no one, no scents of familiar animals or any animals or humans ever graced his nose. How was he supposed to eat? He couldn't just turn herbivorous, could he? Akuma stopped, gazing out at the desert around him. Water, he needed water. In the distance, heat distorted the horizon, but something caught his eyes. It looked like, like trees? And the smell of water came to his nostrils. Oh how he loved that smell, it meant life, it meant survival. He picked up his slow pathetic walk to a light run, then a lope thought the sands till he found himself bursting into lush green growth, and stopping at the edge of an oasis. He moved his blue eyes to the placid water, was this a mirage? Was it all fake? The white lion shook his dusty mane, licked his parched lips. Moving his large paws to the water he dipped his paw i. It was real! With joy he leapt into cool water, letting it soak into his dusty fur. He lapped up at least gallons worth, and took pleasure in the liquid of life. After his childlike display in the water, Akuma moved his body back to the lush shores, finding a nice shady spot to rest. Back home, it was custom to rest during the hottest part of the day and hunt and dawn and dusk. He yawned, a large roar escaping his lips as he did. He stretched his sore torn muscles, and layed on his side in the grass. It was so nice, so much better than the desert that surrounded him. He wouldn't leave, didn't need to. There was fish in the water he could live off of.

It had been so long since Lithium had been in contact with the likes of anyone. Outside of her species or not, it seemed as if she was left alone. Her golden hued paws thudded against the golden sands, the sun shone on her back with intensity. It was hot, yes? Wasn't it true that the lion was made for these conditions though? No matter, it still seemed as though the sun were digging blades into her lungs. These golden glazed eyes traced around this desert, would she be lucky enough to find traces of water in this place? Maybe she was just a bit lucky. Lithium spotted two or three trees standing with lush green leaves. With those signs of greenery, she knew that there had to be some sort of water near by.
A lake? The chances were rather slim it was more probable for there to be some shallow pool. Her gait was still slow paced, due to her need for water she would not run. he water would be there when she got there. The slender body cut through the thin grass easily, her large paws squashed the dead cuts of grass down to their demise. The first thing that came into the site of her golden eyes was the water. It was crystal clear and beautiful the way the large, orange sun rays sparkled off of it. She bounded forward lowering her muzzle to the water. She lapped the warm water until she was filled with all she could drink. With her parched tongue quenched she turned towards the sound of another creature. Fear, was the last thing on Lithiums mind when she saw the other creature. In fact just being in the presence of another being was comforting enough. His appearance was what was startling. She had never seen a lion that looked quite like this one. He had all the characteristics of being a lion except for the color of his coat. The color of his coat was a creamy color, a rarity.
She blinked, trying to silence her mind. She walked herself over to the shade, keeping a perfect distance away from the male. Lithium laid herself down, if he was going to be a threat he would have threatened her by now. She watched him with interest rather than the fear that most would look with. "Hello," She said, her greeting hushed, but load against the silence, "I am Lithium.

Akuma sat up and let his nose taste the air around him. Another animal was here, and from the scent it was of his kind. It made his heart leap slightly, how he longed for company. He got to his feet just as the lioness slowly walked by and placed herself in the shade adjacent to his spot. hey seemed to stare at each-other for quite some time, before she spoke.
"Hello" She said "I am Lithium"
He tilted his head slightly before shaking his mane a bit. "Hello Lithium" He bowed his head slightly, "I am Akuma " He smiled at her and the tip of his tail wagged slightly. A sign that he was of no threat and wasn't an aggressive lion at all. He was quite the opposite really. He only fought when protecting like his father did. He moved his blue orbs to her again looking her over slightly "I am sorry if i seem giddy, I haven't seen another soul on this island since I washed up here." He moved a little bit closer and looked around at the oasis. "May I ask how long have you been here on this island? And is it all a desert?" He was very curious, as a feline should be. "AH where are my manners, It was nice to meet you Lithium" She flashed her a handsome smile and his eyes squinted when he grinned. He sat down a few feet from her now, watching the still water and letting the setting sun soak into his strange white hide. He knew she must think it strange he had seen her curious look when she'd stumbled upon him.
He sighed, this place was like a peice of his home. Hot, yet relaxing. Africa had been the same way. He loved the heat, but only when he knew there was water nearby.

It was true that she could not fathom why the males pelt was so pure and white. In her five years she had never seen any lion quite like it. Lithium noticed his tail flickering back and forth. It was a simple gesture, one that she appreciated. It was a sign that no harm would come to her during this meeting from him. A sign that aggression was not on his mind and that he could make friendly small talk with her. "Hello Lithium" Said the male, his voice was deep but had happiness laced in it, "I am Akuma." She noted that he tilted his head down slightly, more of a nod of acknowledgement than an actual bow. This wasn't a time to be critical though, this was a time for her to open up to making new friends. I am sorry if i seem giddy, I haven't seen another soul on this island since I washed up here." The male said, he moved his frame closer to Lithium, "May I ask how long have you been here on this island? And is it all a desert?"
"I just got here as well. I haven't been here long enough to know if it's all desert, I have heard that it isn't though." she said her voice calm and quiet against the silent desert. "AH where are my manners, It was nice to meet you Lithium" He said, he was very close to her now. Only a few feet separating the two lions. Lithium did not feel threatened by the male though, she made no attempts to further the distance between the two felines. She smiled, her eyes calm and collected. She nodded her approval at the words and continued to smile.
"Where did you come from, Akuma?" she questioned. Her voice was still quiet but you could the curiosity that seethed in her words.

The young lion smiled and layed down near his new found companion. He thought for a moment. "Well I am originally from eastern Africa" He looked out at the still water and the landscape that surrounded them "It was a lot like this place, hot-most of it desert-but there were the plains we hunted in. A few jungles here and there. " He turned his blue eyes to Lithium "But it had many animals there, herd upon herd of zebra buffalo you name it." He grinned.
His tail twitched slightly, and his stomach growled. When was the last time he had actually eaten a good meal? The talk of zebra made his mouth water and long to taste its soft flesh. He sighed, "Do you know if there...is any food here?" He asked, getting to his paws and slowly walking to the waters edge. He dipped his head down low and slow, looking at his reflection in the placid water. It was so still it was like a mirror almost. "And what about you Lithium? Where did you come from hm?" He looked back at her, licking the water from his furry lips. He let his claws slide out and flex, he hadn't used them in so long they ached. He kneaded the sands and soil below his massive paws. Akuma shook his mane and patiently waited for her answers with a friendly smile.
