It's well know that Lithium has to be in charge of something. No, she doesn't have to be in charge of the whole pride per-say, but she does like to have some sort of authority over others. Lithium is a loyal pride member and will do anything in her power to keep the pride safe. She is protective of everyone in the pride. She would protect them like they are her family, protect them with her life. She has been known to be the protector of the pride, if just for the fact that she is an amazing fighter. Lithium is loving to a point, that point of course being her pride life. She would never love someone outside of her pride because she would feel that she is betraying her pride.

Telling a lie is a terrible thing to do. In Lithiums book the punishment for a lie should be death. No matter how much the truth with hurt her friends, Lithium remains brutally honest. She states her opinions as if they are facts and can't keep her loud mouth shut when she needs to. If you don't agree with her opinions she automatically will not like you. She has a terrible temper that has been carried with her throughout her entire life. She lashes out on others that do not agree with her ways. Being the fantastic fighter that she is, often times it will result in a fight.

Lithium is always critical of everything that others do. It can often seem as though she is hypocritical. If she does something wrong it is perfect alright, if you do the same thing it's awful. She can sometimes seem bossy in the way that she'll tell others to do things. When she makes up her mind about things it can never be changed. Lithium would rather die than have you prove anything about her to be wrong.

Being alone is a fear that has been created inside of Lithiums head because of her history. Others often bad mouth her because she can't be alone. Others must surround her in order for her brain function normally. When she is left alone for too long her brain shuts down turning her into a paranoid mess. Whether it is a illness is unknown, but it will haunt her for the rest of her life.

FEARS • Lithium hates being alone.

APPEARANCE •

Lithium is a color I like to call russet gold. This color has all the properties of being hold with a catch. It looks dirty and dark. This color covers Lithium in a thin fur fashioned for the heat of Africa. Her pelt isn't rare for her species and neither is her eyes. They are set back in her face, a little deeper than most lions. A golden color a similar shade to her pelt but lighter.

She is about an average sized female, if not slightly smaller than average. Really in her appearance there is nothing strikingly different about her. Her build is leaner than other lions. She is not bulky with muscle, she is slender and her legs are thinner. Lithium is more athletic making it easier for her run longer distances. Her endurance is higher than her strength so to speak.

HISTORY •

The pride she was born in was rather small, her mother being a healer and her father a hunter. Lithium and her brother and sisters learned skills at an early age. Really, even with these skills the cubs lived a sheltered life. Then poachers ventured to far and happened to stumble upon their pride. In the mad rush to seek shelter Lithiums mother was killed. After the poachers ventured the pride knew it was not safe to return, it was only then that the pride realized that Lithium and her brother were both gone. Scared for their lives they fled the opposite direction, they were too quick for anyone else because they were so athletically built.

Together they lived side by side for nearly a year before Lithiums brother found love. In a desperate attempt to find her own love Lithium left her brothers side traveling alone. Loneliness crept upon her with cats feet and quietly her fear of being alone became a reality. Will loneliness finally eat away at her soul? Or will Lithium find someone to spend her nights with?

It betrayed her by running down the side of her face and showing the brokenness that Lucas had left behind. The hallow the frame of a once magnificent female. No one would ever see the smile that she used to flash, nor the light in her eyes that glowed with happiness. She was no longer happy, she would never be happy. She wouldn't be happy until death swallowed her whole and let her sink into a blissful sleep with the male that she loved most in this world. The scent of a male rested in the air around her, Highlight didn't so much as move from the scent. She knew she was on pack lands so meeting other canines was to be expected. Would she have to exchange in conversation with this canine, absolutely not. Conversations with Highlight usually consisted of nothing more than her silence and blinking. Was it rude? Perhaps in a way it could be taken as rude. Most canines just thought she was a mute dog, unable to engage in conversation. Maybe if she pretended the canine wasn't there, this male would believe that as well. Maybe he would believe that she was incapable of speech, which would be a great gift to Highlight. Mk Looking towards the source of the scent she watched as the dog emerged from the bushes and flowers. He seemed careless in his movements nearly taken out a baby daffodil. The poor flower, it made her skin crawl that he could be so careless with nature. Her light brown eyes scanned the dog from where she laid beside the stream. He was tall, much taller than herself with erect ears that stood like triangles on top of his skull. His eyes were pure blue, almost white. They were deep pits of nothingness. Usually the eyes were the key inside of a canines soul but this male must have no soul because his eyes were empty. He looked past her as if looking at another invisible canine but Highlight recognized that look in his eyes. He was blind, he could no longer see the world that she could see. The retriever felt regret for judging him and feeling bad that he almost stepped on a flower. He was lucky to be able to get around without hurting himself let alone a flower. He was a handsome dog tan with markings like a cattle dog. The black and gray hues swirled together to make a beautiful merle pattern around his body. She diverted her eyes from him, Highlight only thought one male was handsome and that was Lucas. "Enjoying the flowers?" His voice asked timidly. He didn't seem like the type to be timid though. His voice was too smooth and sure of what he was doing to be timid in nature. Was his intention for their meeting ill? Highlight was sure she could get away from the blind male but a fear bubbled in her heart that hadn't been there since the day Lucas had walked away from her pack. She looked down at her paws shifting restlessly. She refused to respond to the words. Small talk was needless, Highlight would lay there in silence until the male decided she wasn't worth his time.
